Job Title: Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled mechanic who will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks including changing starters and filters, replacing hoses on manlifts, and conducting preventive maintenance such as oil changes on trucks and cars. Experience with Bobcat and skid loader maintenance is a plus. The role involves examining vehicles and engines for faults, performing diagnostic tests to identify problems, and carrying out basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.

Responsibilities

+ Change starters and filters.

+ Replace hoses on manlifts.

+ Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes on trucks and cars.

+ Conduct maintenance on Bobcat and skid loaders.

+ Examine vehicles and engines for faults and perform diagnostic tests.

+ Analyze diagnostic test results.

+ Replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical issues.

+ Ability to perform diagnostic tests on vehicles.

+ Experience in basic vehicle maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with maintenance on Bobcat and skid loaders is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is hands-on, involving the use of various diagnostic tools and mechanical equipment. Mechanics are expected to work on different vehicle types, including trucks, cars, and heavy machinery. The role may require working outdoors or in a garage setting, with a focus on safety and precision.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
