Job Title: Service TechnicianJob Description

The Service Technician provides technical assistance and guidance to production, customer support, field service, and engineering teams. This role involves performing service, troubleshooting, and repair activities on complex electro-mechanical systems and system subassemblies used in medical equipment. The products assist cardiologists in visualizing, assessing, and improving patient treatment related to peripheral disease, cardiovascular disease, and structural heart disease.

Responsibilities

+ Provide technical assistance and guidance to production, customer support, field service, and engineering teams.

+ Perform service, troubleshooting, and repair activities on complex electro-mechanical systems.

+ Assemble and disassemble equipment and systems.

+ Conduct diagnostics on systems and system subassemblies.

+ Document all service and repair activities meticulously.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

+ Experience using hand tools and digital multimeters.

+ Ability to follow detailed work instructions.

+ Experience with SAP for managing service tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with electromechanical device repair and servicing.

+ Familiarity with Salesforce and Trackwise software.

+ Ability to perform equipment diagnostics and repair over extended periods, ranging from 4-30 hours per device.

+ High attention to detail.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of working on the floor with eight other team members in a spacious and beautiful facility. The technician will have a dedicated desk and work within a big open space, promoting a great culture and long tenure. The role offers opportunities for learning and growth, with the use of various tools such as hand tools, multimeters, torque drivers, and lux meters.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
