Job Title: AutoCAD DesignerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer to create detailed module drawings for fast fulfillment stations in rural areas, accommodating groceries and quick-moving items. You will be responsible for designing smaller stations ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 square feet, as well as supporting future initiatives. This role focuses on the design of grocery store delivery stations and other small stations for quick-moving items.

Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with Design Engineers to determine requirements for delivery station layouts and translate these into detailed interior CAD drawings with high accuracy.

+ Work alongside Design Engineers, other CAD drafters, World Wide Engineering, Pre-Construction, Construction teams, external architects, MHE vendors, and Launch Execution teams to deliver completed and approved design sets.

+ Engage with internal and external stakeholders on permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans, addressing design-related queries.

+ Support the design quality control process, aiming for zero-defect designs through daily peer reviews, adherence to design checklists, and soliciting feedback from Design Engineers.

+ Deliver new designs, post-permit design updates, expansions, and retrofits to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and capacity for delivery stations.

+ Implement new template designs, process improvements, and safety processes into standard designs.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Revit, Architecture, AutoCAD drafting, and design skills.

+ Understanding architectural floor plans, particularly in warehouse or industrial building environments.

+ Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and present to leadership and stakeholders.

+ Experience with construction documents, design, and drafting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 3+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience.

+ 3+ years in project coordination.

+ 3+ years of experience in drafting for facility layout, manufacturing design, commercial, industrial, or structural projects.

+ Extensive operating experience in AutoCAD 2018 or later, preferably in Architecture, Design, Civil, Construction, or Architecture.

+ Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam.

+ Associate's Degree.

+ Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, maintain attention to detail, and work independently.

+ Strong communication skills for various audiences, including written and verbal communication and meeting facilitation.

Work Environment

The position requires working onsite at the Bellevue, WA location, with an in-office presence three days a week. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment supporting grocery store delivery stations and fast-moving item stations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
