    Job Title: Millwright

    Job Description

    The Millwright will be responsible for service work and repairs on facility equipment. The role requires troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, then making necessary repairs. Work will involve climbing ladders, using lifts, and operating on rooftops as well as within the facility. The position entails a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for union shifts.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform service work and repairs on facility equipment.

    + Troubleshoot and diagnose issues effectively.

    + Make necessary repairs to ensure equipment functionality.

    + Work on rooftops and within the facility, requiring the use of ladders and lifts.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong mechanical skills.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Experience with PVC and piping installations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Journey-level experience, must be a card-carrying member of a relevant union such as millwright union, boilermaker, regional council or carpenters and millwrights, ironworkers.

    + Installation and repair expertise.

    + Experience in chain repair and link additions.

    + Capability in shock repair and replacement, safety hook welds, and caster repairs.

    + Proficiency in MIG welding.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $80080.00 - $80080.00/yr.
