    Job Title: CT Technologist

    Job Description

    This position entails performing a variety of complex diagnostic CT procedures, with the primary responsibility of completing diagnostic studies from inception to completion under the direction of the radiologist. The role includes performing routine CTs and CTAs, taking accurate verbal patient histories, and starting I.V.s to administer IV contrast. The CT Technologist is expected to maintain a positive imaging environment for patients and act as a patient liaison to the radiologist.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform complex diagnostic CT procedures, including routine CTs and CTAs.

    + Take accurate verbal patient histories and start I.V.s for IV contrast administration.

    + Act as a patient liaison to the radiologist.

    + Maintain a positive imaging environment for patients.

    Essential Skills

    + RTCT certification.

    + IEMA license.

    + BLS certification.

    + CPR certification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Graduate from an accredited education program in radiology technology.

    + ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(CT).

    + Flexibility to float between Schaumburg and Bloomingdale locations.

    + Availability for evening shifts, holidays, and travel as needed.

    + Consideration for new graduates working to get boards with the requirement to obtain them within 6 months to 1 year from hire date.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $62920.00 - $94328.00/yr.
