Job Title:Controls Technician
Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Controls Technician to install and support HVAC and building automation systems. Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate, efficient installations across commercial sites in Nebraska.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Install conduit, wiring, control panels, sensors, and field devices
+ Interpret mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans
+ Test and troubleshoot systems for proper operation
+ Maintain accurate documentation of work and materials
+ Ensure installations meet design specs
Required Skills & Experience:
+ 2+ years in controls or low-voltage electrical systems
+ Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
+ Familiarity with HVAC systems and building controls
+ Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (60–80 miles/day travel)
Preferred Skills:
+ PLC programming, automation, instrumentation
+ Leadership, communication, and self-motivation

Commercial job sites across Nebraska, including schools in Grand Island, Beatrice, Yutan, Omaha, and Norfolk.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
