Job Title: Facilities Technician

Job Description

This position is responsible for facilitation duties related to the front end of the operation and office areas. Tasks include changing lights, fixing ceiling tiles, climbing ladders, painting removal, and other light electrical duties as required. The role involves maintaining offices and lobby areas, supplies, and facilities in a non-climate-controlled environment under cGMP standards. It also requires written documentation of activities and repairs.

Responsibilities

+ Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

+ Perform light maintenance duties such as painting, door repairs, and light bulb changes.

+ Maintain training on all relevant procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

+ Record daily, weekly, and monthly cleanings in the cleaning logs.

+ Train in all relevant safety procedures.

+ Pick up and dispose of waste from assigned areas daily.

+ Maintain all designated equipment in clean and proper working order.

+ Keep inventory of cleaning solutions and mops.

+ Effectively communicate the status of the area and any problems or issues found.

Essential Skills

+ Facilities maintenance experience.

+ HVAC skills.

+ Knowledge in electrical, painting, facility, and building maintenance.

+ Proficiency in maintenance repair, power tools, and hand tools.

+ Experience with lighting, drywall, plumbing, repair, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2-3 years of previous facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred.

+ Must have GED, Diploma, or higher education to be considered for the position.

Work Environment

The work environment is an industrial setting within a manufacturing context, including cleanrooms. The position operates on the 1st shift, from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work about once per month.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boca Raton, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
