Job Description

A Painting Supervisor oversees various aspects of painting projects, ensuring they run smoothly and meet quality standards. The role involves performing and coordinating the preparation and application of exterior and interior finishes in residential and light commercial settings. The ideal candidate must have experience as a residential or commercial painter and possess a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

+ Supervise the preparation of surfaces for painting, ensuring they are clean, smooth, and ready for paint application.

+ Assign specific painting tasks to team members, detailing the scope of work, expected outcomes, and timelines for each project.

+ Monitor the quality of painting work performed by the team, providing immediate feedback and corrective guidance if necessary.

+ Oversee the maintenance of painting equipment on job sites.

+ Discuss project requirements with clients, ensuring that work aligns with their expectations.

+ Ensure safety guidelines are followed during the painting process.

+ Maintain records related to project progress and completion.

+ Self-perform painting tasks and demonstrate experience in the field.

+ Hold a valid driver's license.

Essential Skills

+ Industrial painting

+ Commercial painting

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills

+ Current Driver's License

+ Experience in the painting field

+ Proficiency with spray guns and spray painting

+ Knowledge of industrial paint

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Arrive on time and assess job scope with the Production Manager.

+ Manage crew and set the workflow.

+ Prepare wall surfaces and paint them as directed.

+ Execute on-site job requirements.

+ Determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects.

+ Serve as the liaison between the Project Manager and crew, answering questions to the best of your ability.

+ Ensure the job site is completely clean after each job is completed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $30.00/hr.
