Job Title: Converting Operator

Job Description

The Converting Operator is responsible for loading and unloading machines with materials. This role requires performing basic quality checks, including visual inspections of materials and measurement tests. Documentation is an essential part of the job, requiring data recording on paper and computer systems. The operator should be flexible to work in various departments during downtime.

Responsibilities

+ Load and unload machines with materials.

+ Perform basic quality checks including visual inspections and measurement tests.

+ Document data accurately on paper and computer systems.

+ Be open to working in different departments during downtime.

Essential Skills

+ At least 1 year of recent machine operating experience within the paper, plastics, or food industry.

+ Mechanical aptitude and experience from recent jobs.

+ Basic math skills from recent jobs or general knowledge.

+ Ability to stand for 8 hours and consistently lift 40 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with machine operation.

+ Mechanically inclined.

+ Proficiency with hand tools and measuring tools.

+ Troubleshooting capabilities.

+ Experience with printing press operations.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday. The role requires standing for extended periods and involves lifting up to 40 lbs consistently. You will work with various machines and tools in a dynamic setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
