Job Title: Construction General Laborer

Job Description

Join our team as a Construction General Laborer, where you will work alongside duct or kitchen cleaning crews to assist in cleanup tasks. You will utilize various methods and equipment to perform these duties and will travel to commercial facilities, hospitals, and industrial buildings. Your responsibilities will primarily involve cleaning outside of vents, but may occasionally require entry into tight spaces. Each day begins at our Warren shop, from where you will travel to different job sites. Overnight travel is a possibility and is compensated accordingly.

Responsibilities

+ Assist crew leaders in cleanup work.

+ Utilize different methods and equipment for cleaning tasks.

+ Travel to various commercial, hospital, and industrial facilities to complete assignments.

+ Perform cleaning tasks primarily outside of vents, with occasional entry into tight spaces.

+ Meet daily at the Warren shop and travel to job sites.

+ Participate in occasional overnight travel.

Essential Skills

+ 6+ months of general labor experience.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Comfortable working on flat rooftops and in smaller spaces.

+ Shift flexibility, including working 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts with weekly schedule changes.

+ Mechanical inclination with basic hand tool knowledge.

+ Valid driver's license or state ID.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in air duct or kitchen exhaust fan cleaning.

+ Familiarity with vacuums and power washers.

+ Leadership experience or potential to lead crews.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
