Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description
Join a dynamic petroleum company seeking construction laborers to support equipment operators, pipefitters, and demolition technicians. Please do not apply unless you have construction experience. This role involves assisting in the installation of fueling tanks and piping for municipal centers and gas station stores in the Twin Cities metro area. You will perform general labor tasks such as hauling material, digging, pouring concrete, organizing the worksite to eliminate hazards, and utilizing hand and power tools. Long-term, this position offers growth opportunities to become a pipefitter, operator, or demolition technician, with support to acquire a CDL-A. Once hired directly, there is an opportunity to take the company vehicle home. This role requires physical labor, teamwork, and coordinating with sub-vendors.
Responsibilities
+ Assist equipment operators, pipefitters, and demolition technicians.
+ Support the installation of fueling tanks and piping.
+ Perform general labor tasks, including hauling material and digging.
+ Pour concrete and keep the worksite organized and hazard-free.
+ Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
+ Coordinate with sub-vendors and work as part of a team.
Essential Skills
+ 6+ months of previous experience with small or heavy construction.
+ High School diploma or GED.
+ Clean driving record.
+ CDL or willingness to obtain one.
+ Mechanically inclined.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with construction equipment and maintenance preferred.
+ Welding experience.
+ Concrete experience.
+ Labor experience.
+ Experience with piping, hoist, or lubrication.
+ Experience in petroleum companies.

Work Environment
The work environment includes Monday to Friday hours from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm, with occasional Saturday work and overtime opportunities. Candidates will work at the closest available site within the West, East, and North metro areas. Currently, there is a Kwik Trip project scheduled two weeks out. Expect a physical job, involving lifting up to 75 pounds and handling petroleum fuels. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
