Job Title: Assembler - 1st Shift
Job Description
The primary focus of this role is to complete higher-level assembly tasks while adhering to customer specifications and timelines. As a Level II Assembler, you will also perform duties assigned within Level I as needed or directed, ensuring all tasks are completed without requiring rework.
Responsibilities
+ Complete Level I duties as needed to meet customer timelines.
+ Install platforms and studs.
+ Wire plugs, outlets, and power junction boxes; terminate main cables.
+ Perform paint touch-ups and zinc flange.
+ Conduct inspection processes following detailed instructions.
+ Provide guidance and direction to Level I assemblers and address their queries.
+ Actively support all Environmental Health and Safety initiatives.
+ Participate in Lean/Continuous Improvement activities.
+ Mentor and train team members in applicable areas.
+ Handle special duties and projects as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Experience working with inventory, parts, or part assembly is essential.
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
+ Ability to read and follow work instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Additional education such as classes, certificates, or an Associate’s degree in a related field is a plus.
+ Proficiency in using various tools independently, including screwdrivers, ratchets, scrapers/sandpaper, electrical wire tools, torque wrenches, tape measures, impact wrenches, punch sets, hammers, drills, power sanders, grinders, buffers, ElPress, and stud guns.
+ Basic understanding of electrical wiring.
+ Mechanical ability, measuring skills, and blueprint reading are required.
+ Forklift and vertical basket lift certification required.
+ Strong communication skills with team members to ensure customer requirements are met.

Work Environment
The work environment involves sitting or standing for periods, walking, bending, twisting, or stooping. Employees may be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, vibrations, heat, humidity, cold, or outside elements. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in manufacturing areas. The position is for the 1st Shift, working from 5 am to 3 pm Monday through Thursday, with potential work on Fridays for 8-10 hours. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
