Job Title: Cleanroom Technician

Job Description

As a Cleanroom Technician, you will rotate between three different areas and stations throughout the week. Your tasks will include working in a cleanroom environment where you will wear a smock/lab coat, gloves, mask, and hair net. You will also be responsible for cleaning and sterilizing parts using cleaning chemicals on the clean line, and performing basic assembly tasks outside of the cleanroom. Flexibility and comfort in all three areas are essential as rotations occur regularly.

Responsibilities

+ Work in a cleanroom environment wearing appropriate attire including smock/lab coat, gloves, mask, and hair net.

+ Clean and sterilize parts using cleaning chemicals on the clean line.

+ Perform basic assembly tasks outside of the cleanroom.

+ Rotate between different stations and areas as required.

+ Read and follow directions accurately.

+ Handle small parts assembly and packaging.

+ Adhere to strict cleanroom processes and protocols.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in assembly and general production.

+ Ability to stand for the entire shift.

+ Comfortable wearing cleanroom attire and adhering to cleanroom protocols.

+ Proficiency in reading directions and using hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in medical assembly and optical work.

+ Ability to work with small parts.

+ Capability to sit or stand for the entire shift, depending on the position.

+ General production and warehouse production experience.

Work Environment

The work environment requires adherence to strict cleanroom processes, with full gowning up necessary. The area is somewhat tight but temperature-controlled. The position offers three shifts: 1st shift from 7am to 3pm, 2nd shift from 3pm to 11pm, and 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
