Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience in program management.
+ Experience working with electrical or mechanical products in the hardware development lifecycle.
+ Experience with quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC), measurement systems analysis (MSA).
Preferred qualifications:
+ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification.
+ 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
+ Experience in mechanical drawings comprehension, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Google workspace apps (e.g., Docs, Sheets, Slides).
+ Experience with automated inspection systems and equipment, such as
Coordinate-Measuring Machine (CMM) and laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS).

You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager for Hardware Mechanical Quality, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of mechanical components, systems, and processes throughout the product lifecycle. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain quality control measures, conduct root cause analysis of failures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols for mechanical components and assemblies.
+ Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies to verify compliance with specifications and standards. Perform root cause analysis of mechanical failures and non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
+ Collaborate with design engineering to ensure that new products and designs meet quality and reliability requirements.
+ Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on quality risks and mitigation strategies. Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
+ Develop and deliver training on quality-related topics to production personnel and suppliers. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality-related data.Prepare reports on quality performance metrics and trends.
