    Description

    PCSI is looking for a Quality Control Manager for our healthcare housekeeping contract at the Naval Base Health Clinic on Naval Air Station Pensacola! The Quality Control Manager develops, implements, and monitors quality and safety procedures. This position is responsible for conducting inspections, reviewing inspection data, and meeting safety standards of the contract to continue improving processes. The Quality Control Manager also works closely with the corporate Safety department to lead safety meetings and trainings.

     

    We're looking for someone with experience inspecting housekeeping work in a healthcare setting and a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. **Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm.**

     

    This position is part of an upcoming opportunity, starting between** **_August and October 2025._

    What You'll Do as Quality Control Manager:

    + Develop, implement, and monitor PCSI’s site-specific quality control program, validate operational controls are in place for all requirements and that quality control inspections and/or audits are performed in accordance with the site-specific Quality Control Plan (QCP).

    + Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) and document compliance with corporate quality directives and the ISO 9001 standard.

    + Collaborate with operations in standardizing and implementing operational procedures, work instructions, checklists, training plans, etc.

    + Conduct and document process and system inspections or audits using written procedures and standards.

    + Measure/monitor/analyze processes & implement actions to meet goals.

    + Obtain/maintain quality data required to support management review efforts and process improvement.

    + Comply with the site safety program by conducting monthly safety meetings, required safety training, hazard inspections/assessments and other safety related duties.

    + Receives, reports, and investigates all employee work related accidents and incidents. Investigation includes the determination of the root cause and associated preventive/corrective actions.

    + When applicable, manage the site environmental program. Conduct environmental site assessments, facility inspections and hazardous waste control in accordance with state, federal and regulatory environmental requirements.

    + Assist the Project Manager with monitoring daily operations of the contract and its employees as needed.

    + Provide onsite employee training on housekeeping procedures as needed.

    + Provide additional operational support, to include shared administrative office duties.

    What You'll Need:

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    + Two (2) years’ experience in healthcare environmental services (housekeeping) required, hospital setting preferred.

    + Two (2) years’ experience managing/supervising employees required, including coaching and skill development.

    + Two (2) years’ experience in quality systems including standards outlined in the contract.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Advanced knowledge of PC functions/software e.g., MS Office & working knowledge of Excel.

    + Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety standards a plus.

    + Ability to conduct root cause analysis, data analysis and preventive/corrective action.

    + Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

    + Ability and willingness to resolve conflict.

    + Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

    + Ability to set and manage priorities.

    + Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.

    Other Requirements:

    + Ability to pass credit, criminal, drug, and driving screening.

    + Ability to be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.

    + Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

    + Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.

    + If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
