Position Summary

The intern will complete internal quality testing to ensure our products meet or exceed quality standards. This position is a part time position to working 1-2 days per week (10-20 hours per week) with work schedule flexibility, supporting a manufacturing site (Desert Whales, Tucson, AZ). It is anticipated that this position will be needed for the remainder of 2025. Starting hourly rate: $25 and hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Conduct internal quality sample tests to include incoming RM testing, production in process testing, testing for approval to package and final product testing.

+ Ensure the proposer documentation and management of tests and samples.

+ Support with customer complaints, quality anomalies and nonconformities.

+ Assist with internal audits and external audits.

+ Input data into the Quality Management System, ensuring data integrity.

+ Other duties as my be assigned.

Education & Experience

Education: Current undergraduate students (sophomore level or higher) or graduate students pursuing a Master’s degree in Chemistry or related Sciences.

Knowledge, Skills, & Talents

Strong computer proficiency, effective troubleshooting skills, analytical thinking, familiarity with laboratory instruments such as HPLC and GC, and clear communication are essential for success in this role.

Pay

The estimated base pay range for this position is 25/hr. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, qualifications, skills and geographic location.
