+ The Underwriting Consultant plays a key role in managing financial analysis and underwriting for large group customers.

+ In this position, you’ll apply underwriting risk and pricing guidelines to develop pricing decisions, assess risks, and project future costs for both new and existing accounts.

+ You will collaborate with the sales team to provide pricing rationale and help craft renewal strategies that meet both customer objectives and financial goals.

+ The role requires a strategic thinker with strong business judgment and a keen understanding of healthcare underwriting in a competitive market.

+ A successful candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

+ They will confidently communicate underwriting strategies to internal and external stakeholders and possess the ability to make sound, independent decisions.

+ Also, demonstrate a collaborative approach to problem-solving, have a solid understanding of healthcare underwriting and pricing methodologies (particularly in the large group market), and be well-versed in competitive market trends.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

+ Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

+ Underwriting specific to group insurance

+ 3-5 years of Large Group Fully-Insured Commercial (Health Insurance) underwriting experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
