What You Will Do** **:

The IT Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within the IT department. This role ensures that all software, systems, and IT solutions meet the required standards and comply with company, industry, federal regulations. The manager will lead all Quality Assurance initiatives and teams. Developing, enhancing quality metrics, communications and reporting with clients, and implement quality improvement initiatives ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLA's) are met.

Responsibilities of this role are as follows, to include but not limited to:

+ Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.

+ Lead the creation of test plans, including detailed test cases to ensure optimal coverage.

+ Manage and oversee system integration, functional, and user acceptance testing.

+ Perform root cause analysis of defects and implement process improvements.

+ Coordinate with IT teams and business units to ensure timely project delivery.

+ Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain necessary documentation.

+ Train and mentor QA staff and IT teams on quality assurance processes.

+ Leverage and assess tools for monitoring and validating quality levels and standards.

+ Conduct audits and identify corrective or preventive actions.

+ Report quality assurance metrics, such as defect frequencies and test results, to management.

+ Stay updated on emerging testing tools and strategies.

+ Responsible for all SLA processes and controls

What You Will Need** **:

+ Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust

+ EIGHT (8) or more years of experience in quality assurance.

+ PMP certification

+ ITIL Certification

+ Experience in quality assurance or software testing roles.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Familiarity with QA tools and methodologies.

+ Familiarity with systems monitoring and alerting tools, (Splunk, Datadog, etc.)

+ Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

What Would Be Nice to Have** **:

+ Bachelor's degree.

+ Existing DHS Suitability

+ Experience supporting federal government customers and/or prior experience within the federal government.

+ Relevant certifications including but not limited to: Scrum-master certification, SAFe Certification, ITSQB, Certified Software Quality Engineer.

+ Showing extensive program management skills including the ability to liaise with technical and business teams and clearly articulate technology concepts to business audiences.

+ Demonstrated experience leading technology implementations/transformations, specifically with large-scale technology transformation programs (i.e., strategy through execution) with an emphasis in operations.

+ Demonstrating IT strategy skills by being able to develop and document business visions, technology strategies, and project roadmaps.

+ Experience leading teams of at least (10) consultants/IT Practitioners.

+ Experience supporting emergency management security sector customers.
