This role can be based in New York, Chicago, Sunnyvale or San Francisco.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
As the Senior Director of SMB Agency Sales, you will lead LinkedIn’s global strategy for engaging, developing, and scaling relationships with independent, boutique, and mid-sized digital agencies.
You will be responsible for helping agencies at scale succeed on LinkedIn, enabling them to understand the platform’s value, integrate it into their service offerings, and grow their clients’ businesses. You will oversee both direct agency engagement efforts as well as the development of scalable support models to accelerate long-term success of the agency ecosystem.
Additionally, you will lead the newly formed SMB Agency Team, which focuses on:
+ Accelerating Agency ad growth at scale: Lead an organization that helps agencies maximize their use of LinkedIn Marketing Solutions to improve their marketing performance
+ Strategic Planning: Partner with agencies to develop and execute partnership plans that align LinkedIn’s goals with the agency’s
+ Prospecting & expansion: Identifying high-potential agencies and proactively nurturing their growth
+ Operational scalability: Partnering with XFN teams to develop playbooks, self-serve education, and automation to support agencies at scale
+ Scaled engagement: Hosting industry events, distributing insights, and fostering agency communities
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee the Global SMB Agency Development Team, driving existing and new LinkedIn customer growth with highest potential agencies.
+ Define and execute the global strategy for developing agency relationships at scale, ensuring alignment with LMS commercial and customer success objectives.
+ Lead strategic consultations with agencies at all levels, guiding them and their end clients in leveraging LinkedIn to drive business growth and achieve their objectives.
+ Develop and implement scalable customer engagement models, leveraging events, newsletters, industry partnerships, and vendor-supported initiatives to drive agency education and retention.
+ Build a structured customer development plan for new and historically unmanaged agency success on LinkedIn’s ad platform.Support agencies in building successful LinkedIn-based offerings that they can package and sell to their clients.
+ Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure that LinkedIn’s platform, tools, and insights are accessible and impactful for agencies at scale.
Basic Qualifications:
+ 12+ years of experience in advertising sales, customer development, or agency partnerships within digital marketing, ad tech, or social media platforms.
+ 10+ years of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Prior experience leading Agency teams in a high-growth tech environment.
+ Experience in digital technology, advertising, or advertising technology
+ Strong understanding of the B2B advertising landscape, with expertise in LinkedIn Ads, ABM, and self-serve ad platforms.
+ Proven experience building and scaling customer-focused sales teams, particularly in the scaled agency segments.
+ Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze performance metrics and use insights to drive long-term customer engagement.
+ Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging C-level agency executives.
+ Experience working with Agencies, digital advertising go to market strategy & sales
+ Effectively lead and drive cross-functional teams to align around and achieve shared objectives (product, marketing, sales, creative, planning, etc.).
+ Ability to frame insights and communicate recommendations simply and effectively.
+ Deep understanding of advertiser marketing organizations and agencies.
+ Strong critical thinking skills and judgement
+ Ability to work and collaborate effectively across functions
+ Strong problem solving skills, comfortable working through ambiguity
+ Proven ability to drive and deliver operational rigor & excellence

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $358,000 to $545,000 OTE. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
