    This role will be based in San Francisco, or Sunnyvale, depending upon which location the applicant chosen for the role is currently residing.

    Our Go-To-Market Sales Strategy & Operations organization is responsible for building and maintaining the operational foundation that enables our sales organization to run effectively and efficiently. This individual will act as an advisor to executives in the sales organization and is responsible for helping crack the most important strategic and operational problems facing the business. As a Sales Strategy & Operations Senior Associate, you will be partnering with senior sales executives to assess business performance and derive actionable insights focused on driving revenue growth, sales productivity, and customer value. This role will also be responsible for leading, executing, and scaling operational and planning processes in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.

     

    The ideal candidate will bring a strong strategic mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a high degree of ownership—consistently pushing beyond expectations to deliver exceptional results. They should be able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment, ask thoughtful questions that get to the root of complex issues, and take pride in producing high-quality work. The candidate should be excited to challenge the status quo, continuously improve processes, and drive meaningful change. Strong collaboration skills are essential, with the ability to build alignment across stakeholders, navigate differing perspectives, and drive well-informed, data-driven decisions.

    Responsibilities

    + Advise senior sales leaders on growing and optimizing the LinkedIn Learning business by making data-driven, actionable recommendations to achieve our long-term strategic priorities; drive alignment and buy-in with cross-functional partners to operationalize

    + Leverage strong analytical skill set to independently navigate ambiguous business problems and enable performance management, GTM transformation, and other key initiatives

    + Play a vital role in driving annual strategic planning processes through data-driven recommendations related to financial planning and quota setting

    + Own global programs and initiatives to drive Learning excellence and mindshare at scale

    + Proactively identify opportunities for and implement process improvements with an operational excellence mindset

    + Establish strong working relationships with peers in other Sales Operations teams and cross-functional partners (Sales, Strategic Finance, Pricing, Product Marketing) to deliver impact

    Basic Qualifications:

    + BA/BS degree in business, operations, analytics, or related field

    + 4+ years' experience in a strategic or analytical role, including management consulting, finance, business operations, sales operations or other similar

    + 2+ years' experience with Excel, SQL and PowerPoint

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Advanced proficiency in data analysis/modeling (Excel, SQL) and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making

    + Experience with D365, Tableau, PowerBI, Python, R a plus

    + Proven track record of leading strategic and operational cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth, performance-focused environment

    + Highly collaborative working style with strong influence skills

    + Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, navigate challenging data sets, develop solutions, and craft high-quality executive presentations

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences

    + Extreme attention to detail (minimizing defects)

    LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

     

    The pay range for this role is $100,000 to $156,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
