Sigma Defense is seeking a DevOps Engineer I with Agile Scrum Master experience (preferred, but training is available) to support a Navy software factory. The FORGE is a modernization effort to deliver cutting-edge software development practices, DevSecOps, and technologies to the Fleet. There is a heavy emphasis on modern practices such as leveraging containerization in both production and development environments for full-stack application and services.

Requirements
+ 0-3 years of relevant experience.
+ Some experience working on Linux based infrastructure.
+ Some understanding of testing frameworks, tools and infrastructure.
+ Create and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts for infrastructure and application deployments.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to identify testing requirements.
+ Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services.
+ Must be a U.S. citizen.
+ Ability to implement DevOps principles, Experience with WebApps and Services, CI/CD and Kubernetes is preferred.
Personnel Clearance Level:
+ Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
+ Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.
Educational Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
+ Knowledgeable about Agile practices and methodology, educates team on Agile best practices.
+ Ensure the team optimizes scrum process and adheres to scrum principles and practices.
+ Support team productivity, collaboration, and overall success in delivering high-quality products.
+ Facilitate Scrum of Scrums ceremonies and attend PO syncs as needed.
+ Support a culture of continuous improvement and shared practices.
+ Responsible for daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Code Review, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
+ Work to resolve issues/bring issues to leadership to help resolve.
+ Administrate JIRA board and ensure tickets are filled out properly (acceptance criteria, appropriate details, etc.).
+ Know and understand team velocity and protect team from overcommitting in sprint planning meetings.
+ Create and track sprint burndown charts.
+ Plan and facilitate retrospective, track items that have been brought up, and actively work to solve them.
+ Capture feedback from stakeholders in Sprint Review.
+ Help the team and PO break down the work into appropriately-sized chunks (watch for red flags like carried-over work or items that are not flowing).
+ Help the PO have the right amount of “Ready to Work” items at the top of the backlog.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 annually.
