Summary

The Supply Planner leads end-to-end supply planning for avocado production and long-range planning for international potato operations. This role is central to aligning tactical and strategic supply strategies with business goals through the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. The planner collaborates across sales, operations, logistics, and finance to ensure cohesive planning and execution, while also communicating key insights and recommendations to business leadership. As the subject matter expert in advanced planning systems (Logility), the planner drives continuous improvement in planning accuracy and system utilization to ultimately improve and maintain customer service performance.

Key Responsibilities

+ **Tactical Production Planning** : Develop and maintain 13-week rolling production plans for avocado operations on a weekly cadence, integrating demand forecasts, sales input, logistics, and warehouse constraints.

+ **Strategic Supply Planning** : Generate 2–3 year production forecasts for avocado and international potato supply to support rough cut capacity planning and guide long-term business decisions as a part of the monthly business process.

+ **Scenario Analysis** : Conduct ad hoc supply planning analyses to evaluate alternative scenarios and provide actionable insights to leadership.

+ **System Expertise** : Serve as the subject matter expert in Logility and other advanced planning tools, ensuring accurate configuration, maintenance, and execution.

+ **Cross-Functional Leadership** : Champion avocado customer service by owning the end-to-end supply plan and leading discussions with sales, operations, logistics, and finance to resolve constraints and align priorities.

+ **Process Improvement** : Continuously improve planning processes and tools, leveraging SQL, advanced Excel modeling, and data integration techniques to enhance decision-making and reporting.

+ **IBP Participation** : Actively support and contribute to the Integrated Business Planning process, particularly in plan generation, reporting, and strategic supply chain alignment.

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

+ 3+ years of experience in supply planning, preferably in an integrated business planning environment.

+ Proficiency in supply planning software (Logility preferred; SAP PPDS/IBP a plus).

+ Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL and advanced Excel modeling.

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

+ Spanish fluency is a plus.
