    Responsibilities

    + Lead teams of on-site Maintenance Technicians based at client warehouse locations in the North American (Eastern) region, inclusive of recruiting, onboarding, performance management and regular training & development

    + Support Maintenance Technicians in their day-to-day work by providing technical and operational direction and guidance

    + Plan and ensure preventative maintenance tasks and other maintenance operations are carried out on time and on schedule

    + Act as Exotec's local representative, both in-person and remotely, for assigned client warehouse locations

    + Monitor performance KPIs at client sites, providing regular and timely data reports to appropriate internal and external stakeholders

    + See that any escalations or system performance issues are resolved as soon as possible, which may include critical travel to assigned client warehouse locations and/or covering Maintenance Technician shifts if needed

    + Ensure material purchasing stays within budget

    + Manage any third-party schedules as appropriate, making sure that mandatory equipment inspections are completed within scheduled timelines

    + Ensure Maintenance team members, external partners and/or contractors, warehouse operators and any on-site visitors are compliant with health, safety and environmental standards and protocol

    + Participate in client site continuous improvement projects

    Requirements

    + 10+ years experience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment and/or machinery, with at least 3 of those years managing field maintenance team(s)

    + Some knowledge of the warehouse automation, industrial robotics, materials handling and/or logistics space would be highly beneficial

    + Comfort with up to 50% regular travel to client warehouse sites

    + Excellence knowledge and repair skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance issues

    + Flexibility with picking up Maintenance Technician shifts in the event of team member PTO and/or sick leave

    + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

    + Excellent communication and rapport-building skills, both internal and external-facing

    + Ability to maintain, and even repair when necessary, strong, positive partnerships with clients

    + A comfort and ease working in fast-paced, everchanging environments, like robotics and technology

    + Able to work and make business decisions or leadership decisions autonomously
