    The Senior Director, Specialty Channel Accounts & Strategy will be responsible for the development and implementation of a specialty pharmacy network with a focus on operational excellence. This newly created position is a vital and strategic role within our Market Access team to support the development of a launch strategy for a new product in liver cirrhosis. This role with also support Specialty Pharmacy strategies for other Bausch Health brands.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Evaluate and build innovative channel strategies and offerings by specialty pharmacy and distributor to optimize patient service offerings and access

    + Evaluate and build HUB services and offerings by potential partners to optimize patient service offerings and access

    + Negotiate Fee-For-Service (FFS) agreements with key partners; ensure compliance with key terms, Fair Market Value (FMV), and alignment with key brand objectives.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a strong understanding of SP process and capabilities, escalating concerns as appropriate, and identifying solutions to address access barriers.

    + Build specialty pharmacy and HUB team that will manage day-to-day specialty pharmacy relationships in collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless patient access and monitor cases

    + Work closely with data analytics to identify data gaps or enhancements to improve process efficiencies.

    + The role functions as a key resource to optimize patient access supporting field reimbursement and market access teams

    + Coordinate and collaborate with sales operations and reporting to conduct analytics and drive channel performance.

    Key Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's Degree Required; advanced business degree (MBA) preferred

    + Minimum of 10-15 years of prior experience in biotech/pharma/specialty pharmacy industry with a focus on operational excellence

    + Prior experience working with Specialty Pharmacy, HUBs and specialty pharmaceutical reimbursement.

    + HS/IDN and 340B experience to provide insights and management for channel strategies

    + Understands and utilizes economic, financial, and industrial data to accurately diagnose business strengths and weaknesses, as well as able to analyze and act on threats and business opportunities

    + Strong ability to lead others in a matrixed environment; applies appropriate interpersonal styles and communications methods to influence and build effective relationships with business partners (e.g., peers, functional partners, external vendors and alliance partners).

    + Travel requirements: ability to travel up to 25% may be required, with potentially heavier travel during launch phases.

    + Role will require PHI (Protected Health Information) access with necessary certifications to help overcome access barriers to secure reimbursement.

     

    As required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by many factors including skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay for this role is $225k - $275k.
