We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer III, Manufacturing Engineer (Process Engineer) to join our diverse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This position calls for a thorough comprehension of manufacturing principles, strong analytical skills, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Development and Optimization:
+ Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes for new products and improve existing processes.
+ Conduct process simulations and feasibility studies to evaluate the effectiveness of proposed changes.
+ Apply lean manufacturing principles for identifying and eliminating waste, improving process flow, and enhancing efficiency.
Quality Assurance:
+ Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Develop and implement process control plans, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
+ Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve process-related issues.
Project Management:
+ Lead and manage process improvement projects from concept through implementation.
+ Collaborate with multi-functional teams, such as design, production, and quality, to achieve project objectives.
+ Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and present findings to management.
Technical Support:
+ Provide technical support to production teams to solve and resolve process-related issues.
+ Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on new processes and equipment.
+ Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and standard methodologies in manufacturing engineering.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
+ Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
+ Prepare detailed reports and presentations on process performance, including important metrics.
+ Recommend and implement data-driven solutions to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
+ Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on process engineering.
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, process simulation tools, and statistical analysis software. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
+ Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
+ Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
+ Teamwork: Proven track record to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
+ Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license or other relevant certifications.
+ Experience with automation and robotics in a manufacturing setting.
+ Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
Working Conditions:
+ This position may require occasional travel to other manufacturing sites or suppliers.
+ Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $83,300.00–$125,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
