We are seeking a **_Research Program Coordinator_** who will identify, recruit, enroll and follow-up with patients in Ophthalmology clinical trials. Conduct eligibility screenings for potential study participants, with principal investigator consultation. Obtain informed consent from study participants. Enroll and follow-up with patients in clinical trials. Coordinate patient care and visits based on study protocols. Perform ophthalmic tech activities as they relate to the studies: confocal microscopy, corneal sensitivity, contrast sensitivity, and vision testing.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
+ Provide patient education on eye conditions and related diseases.
+ Perform accurate and timely data collection on source documents and case report forms.
+ Ensure proper labeling and delivery of photographs, scans and laboratory specimens.
+ Monitor study participants for adverse events.
+ Provide follow-up of patients regarding side effects, medical history questions and information relative to conduct of clinical trials.
+ Communicate all necessary information to sponsors and IRB.
+ Provide information regarding clinical trials for patients and families, referring physicians, faculty and staff.
+ Assist principal investigator with preparation of study documents required for study approval and renewal.
+ Provide information regarding clinical trials for patients and families, referring physicians, faculty, and staff.

Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Advanced Degree.
+ Prior experience working with patients.

Starting Salary Range: $17.20 - $30.30 HRLY ($56,212 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)
