Managed by Ebenezer, our community will provide independent senior living, assisted living and memory care. We offer an age-in place model, where our residents choose apartments and services based on their needs.
We are looking for a **Server/Culinary Assistant** to join our team! This food service role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Senior Living Community in Grand Rapids, MN.
This nutrition services schedule includes;
+ Casual / On Call. Day, early evening shift options.

Responsibilities:
+ Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
+ Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
+ Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
+ Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
+ Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
+ Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
+ Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
+ Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
+ Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
+ Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
+ Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
+ Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
+ Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
Required:
+ less than 1 year experience
Preferred:
+ High School Diploma
+ 1 year experience
