Clinician/Clinician Fellow – Adult Acute Care (UPMC Presbyterian / 12S)

•⚕️ Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the daily performance of direct reports, including:
+ Employee evaluations
+ Hiring and onboarding
+ Coaching and performance support
+ Serve as a clinical educator, guiding:
+ Orientation and training for staff
+ Best practice consultations
+ Coordination of clinical activities ️
+ ️ Provide nursing care when needed — shift accountability
Leadership & Improvement
+ Demonstrate knowledge in performance improvement tools

+ Minimum 2 years of nursing experience. _BS/BSN required._
+ If BSN not at time of hire, must be enrolled in a program within one year of hire/transfer date and complted within three years of enrollment. MSN or CNL preferred.
+ Master's degree preferred. If BS degree not in nursing, a Master's or higher degree in Nursing is required.
+ Demonstrated competence as a Professional Staff Nurse.
+ Ability to establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with executives, managers, physicians, non-physician providers, ancillary and support staff, other departments, and patients/families.
+ Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handle multiple/changing priorities and specialized equipment. Exemplary clinical judgment with critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities required as related to various aspects of patient care.
+ Mobility and visual manual dexterity. Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting and positioning of patients.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in practicing state. National Certification preferred.CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
