Responsibilities You will provide expert-level supervision to professional Counseling, Advocacy, and Prevention (CAP) staff within the Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC). You will be responsible in identifying employees' developmental needs and provide or arrange for training. You will be responsible in reviewing and evaluating CAP program areas, identifying gaps in existing services, including assessment and treatment related issues. You will serve as the CAP expert-level representative attending, coordinating, or assisting in coordinating various meetings and committees. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing all activities related to Counseling, Advocacy, and Prevention (CAP) and services ensuring contract deliverables are within CAP program requirements; 2) Overseeing employee's developmental needs and providing training needs to improve job performance and expectations; 3) Providing expert-level management and oversight of CAP program services, identifying gaps to include assessment and treatment related issues, administrative procedures and provide recommendations for improvement; 4) Serve as the CAP representative attending and coordinating various meetings and committees to meet membership and training requirements. Tier Three Clinical Care Provider: This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: Must meet all of the following requirements as outlined in SECNAVINST 1754.7A: 1. State or U.S. territory license or certification that provides legal authority to provide clinical services as an independent practitioner. 2. When the state or U.S. territory licensing or certification requirements include a written examination, candidates for privileging, must have achieved a passing score on that examination. 3. Possess at least a master's degree in one of following clinical fields:a. Marriage and Family Therapy from a program accredited by Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education or an equivalent degree, OR b. Social Work from a school accredited by Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or an equivalent degree, OR c. Psychology from a doctoral program approved by APA or an equivalent degree.4. Have engaged in 2 years, that includes at least 2,000 hours, full-time, post-masters supervised clinical experience. Additional Information This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. A 40-hour work week. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
