Job Description
The Sr. Manager, IAM Engineering will drive future vision, strategy realization, technology roadmaps, and innovation initiatives across the IAM Engineering landscape. The Sr. Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day of IAM engineering technologies and will lead a team of developers to ensure that all departments are working together to achieve our goals. The Sr. Manager supports the development and implementation of strategies to improve efficiency and productivity. The incumbent collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and works with executive leadership to align initiatives with business objectives. The Sr. Manager also acts as a hands-on SailPoint developer as well as be a role model to the team, supporting the strategy and architecture around the enterprise wide IAM engineering environment. Job Responsibilities Engineering Strategy & Oversight Provide guidance to operational teams for proactive management, monitoring, and support of the IAM engineering environment while ensuring high performance, security and scalability. Manage teams of security engineers that design, document, test, maintain and provide issue resolution and recommendations for highly complex security solutions. Partner with the Product Managers/Owners to drive user satisfaction, influence technology requirements and priorities in the product roadmap and promote innovative and intelligent solutions while being a strong advocate of agile practices. Foster a business-oriented focus and culture, working closely with business and Technology management to establish priorities and deliver solutions that best support the business needs and enable future IAM engineering capabilities. Stay up to date on IAM engineering innovations and industry trends as well as changes to internal systems and determine how they impact tools, training, and support necessary to keep systems up, running, and secure. Guide the creation of scripts and tools that drive automation and enable operational teams and end users to move towards self-service. Provide guidance to IT partners on configuration, debugging, and deployment of tools requiring IAM integration. Direct team in proactively monitoring and management of IAM infrastructure. Implement SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) best practices (coding/design/etc.). Operational & Risk Control Guide maintenance, upgrades, and support for existing systems and infrastructure to ensure operational stability. Provide technology recommendations to provide cost-effective solutions that meet business and technology requirements. Develop and implement strategies for the deployment, automation, monitoring, and ongoing optimization of infrastructure resources and provide suggestions on improvements. Ensure compliance and control activities support technology and enterprise business objectives and are aligned with executive risk tolerances and expectations. Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of technology systems, implementing appropriate measures to protect sensitive information and prevent disruptions. Assist in the development of IAM engineering policies, procedures, and standards that are in line with industry standards. Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards to achieve "effective" audits. Leadership: Serves as team leader and mentor, defining and driving goals and performance for Identity & Access Control Specialists. Mentor and guide IAM Engineers and perform knowledge transfer to other teams as required. * Manage and develop team cultivating a spirit of one team with shared goals and objectives. * Select, motivate, and retain high performing talent. * Provide on-going feedback to maximize overall performance. Qualifications
Position Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or other relevant technology or cybersecurity degrees or equivalent through a combination of education and/or technology or cybersecurity experience or or 12 years of technology and/or cybersecurity experience
+ 8 years in experience leading large, complex/critical technology projects
+ 8 years in experience in Identity and Access Management experience with deep understanding of architecture as well as technical hands-on capabilities.
+ 6 years in managing leading IAM engineering teams
+ 6 years in experience with IAM engineering technologies
+ 6 years in experience in SailPoint, Azure AD, and/or OKTA solutions/tools design, implementation, development and configuration.
Preferred Qualifications
+ CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
+ CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
