    TITLE:Elementary Education Teacher - UPK/ Early Childhood

    *RECRUITMENT INCENTIVE/BONUS:The recruiter and successful applicant will receive $200 each within a reasonable time of when the applicant is approved for employment by the Board of Education, and if the new employee successfully completes a full calendar year of employment, both the recruiter and the new employee will receive $800 each within a reasonable time of the year-long period. Neither payment will be included as part of the employee's base pay, and both are considered one-time payments.

    **The recruiter must be employed by Pine Valley Central School District and provide the District Clerk with a written recommendation for employment of the applicant, stating that they are recruiting the applicant. Furthermore, the applicant must clearly state in a letter to the District Clerk that the district employee has recruited them for this position.

     

    SALARY:As per the Pine Valley Teachers' Association and the Board of Education Agreement

    DUTIES:

    Inspire, encourage, and develop young children, each with different abilities, challenges, and personalities. Assist in

     

    the education of fundamental concepts needed for general art understanding through the implementation of well-

     

    planned lessons. Encourage students to develop personal styles and express themselves. Evaluate assignments,

     

    make observations and offer constructive criticism. Grade and maintain records of student performance. Think

     

    creatively, make good decisions, and communicate effectively with others. Work collaboratively with all teachers

     

    within the building and/or district. Prepare materials for lessons. Perform required duties throughout the school day.

     

    Take direction and work as part of a team. Other duties as specified.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:NYS certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth to Grade 2) or be eligible for certification
