Per Diem Days - Weekdays and Weekends
Pay rate starting at $60/hour

UMC is currently seeking a Physical Therapist for our Bristol Glen Senior Care Community located in Newton, NJ. Bristol Glen, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is thoughtfully designed to provide person directed care in a home-like environment to ensure exceptional care and quality of life for our residents.
Requirements for a Physical Therapist:
+ Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
+ At least 2 years' experience as a physical therapist.
+ Current Physical Therapist state license.
Responsibilities for a Physical Therapist:
+ Performs and documents an initial exam, evaluating data to identify problems and determine diagnosis prior to intervention.
+ Plans, prepares, or carries out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in clients.
+ Records prognosis, treatment, response, and progress in client's chart or enters information into computer.
+ Identifies and documents goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.
+ Administers manual exercises, massages, or traction to help relieve pain, increase client strength, or decrease or prevent deformity or crippling.
+ Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
+ Tests and measures client's strength, motor development and function, sensory perception, functional capacity, or respiratory or circulatory efficiency and record data.
+ Instruct client and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home.
+ Confers with the patient, medical practitioners, or other appropriate parties to plan, implement, or assess the intervention
+ program.
+ Reviews physician's referral and client's medical records to help determine diagnosis and physical treatment required.
+ Complies with professional, ethical, and legal standards.
