    LSI is seeking a Caseworker to assist refugee and immigrant populations in our Waterloo service area. Multilingual Applicants are encouraged to apply.

     

    What You'll Do

     

    LSI is seeking a Caseworker to assist Ukrainian Humanitarian Parolees, Cuban Haitian Entrants, and other ORR-Eligible Populations in the Cedar Valley and surrounding area. The Caseworker is responsible for providing supportive services including, but not limited to skill development, case management, advocacy, employment and resource connection. The Caseworkers should know the basics of outcome-based performance measures and be willing to help clients develop goals and facilitate service plans that enable each client to meet their personal goals. The Caseworker will meet with clients in person or via telephone during normal business hours, as well as in the evenings and occasional weekends. Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

     

    Required: Bachelor's degree in health and human services + 1 year of full time, related health and human services experience. Will also accept equivalent education and experience, including an associate's degree + 3 years OR a high school diploma/GED + 5 years of related experience.
