Summary This National Guard position is for an HR SPECIALIST (MILITARY) - Title 32, Position Description Number D1622000 and is part of the WI 115 FSS, Wisconsin Air National Guard. *This vacancy is also advertised as AGR Job Announcement Number 25-086ANG* Responsibilities As an HR SPECIALIST (MILITARY) - Title 32, GS-0201-9, you will administer and accomplish functions of one or more of the following human resources programs: Career Enhancements, Customer Service, Employments, Relocations, and/or Readiness.. Duties (1) Career Enhancements: Plans, directs, controls and provides advisory services on all aspects of the Career Enhancement program for both Active Guard Reserve (AGR), unit drill status guardsmen, full time technicians and potential members. (2) Customer Service: Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the Customer Service Program. Manages the Air Force Personnel Records System. (3) Employments: Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the human resources employment program. (4) Relocations: Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the Relocation program for all members. (5) Readiness: Develops wing readiness plans for the administration of contingencies and mobilizations. (6) Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Military Grades: E-1 through E-6 Conditions of Employment: - National Guard Membership is required. - Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. - Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. - May be required to successfully complete a probationary period. Qualifications GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the GS-09 level, you must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants must have experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management. Experience developing administrative procedures.
