    Job Summary

    The Logistics Coordinator is an integral receiving team member who coordinates daily receiving operations while maintaining inventory efficiency. This role provides continuous support and communication within receiving and warehouse operations, allowing for critical continuity in the supply chain organization and patient care. The Logistics Coordinator is the primary contact on the receiving dock and assists with directing delivery drivers throughout the hospital when needed. This position will support the Pavilion Warehouse Operations.

     

    Supervision is received from the Inventory Control Senior Supervisor in the department.

     

    The anticipated start date for the position is August 2025.

    Responsibilities*

    + Warehouse and Dock Product Audits

    + Constrained or at-risk items review/restock

    + Coordinating movement of product from offsite storage locations. Adjusting product between Business Units in PeopleSoft

    + Replenishing shelves

    + Zero count audits

    + General and Miscellaneous Receiving Coordination

    + Verify and receive products

    + Review shipping documents, along with purchase orders, to ensure accuracy

    + Sort and check nonstock items

    + Receive and deliver to point of use:

    + Warehouse

    + Customer(s) in Clinical Units & Support Departments

    + Resolves Receiving Discrepancies

    + Incoming product/receipts with notification to purchasing

    + Liaison for the post-receiving process discrepancies with delivery/partners' resolving

    + Annual Cycle Count Coordination

    + Maintain Clean Housekeeping Practices on dock and within warehouse

    + Equipment Maintenance

    + Support proper equipment usage, including rotational charging program for powered pallet jacks and other motorized equipment

    + Collaboration with Supply Chain groups including:

    + Transactional Purchasing

    + Customer Service

    + Warehouse Supervisors

    + Warehouse Stockkeepers

    + PAR Management

    Required Qualifications*

    + Solid understanding of inventory management and supply chain

    + Minimum of high school diploma with at least five years of relevant supply chain/inventory control work experience

    + Excellent communication and people skills (including written, speaking, and interpersonal)

    + Good collaboration and teamwork abilities

    + Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

    + Good coordination and organizational skills

    + Good decision-making and leadership skills

    + Must be able to demonstrate a record of increased responsibility, solving routine problems, leading a shift or area, and working on projects alone and in teams

    + Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes

    + Proficient in Excel

    + Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct with demonstrated commitment to details and follow-up

    + Must be able to lift to 35 lbs.

    Work Schedule

     

    Monday-Friday, day shift. Hours to be determined.

    Background Screening
