RN job details:

Essential Job Duties:

+ Collaborate with the physician or manager to determine needs of patients

+ Uses clinical reasoning, including decision making, critical thinking and global grasps of a situation while incorporating evidence-based practice in plan of care.

+ Create a compassionate and therapeutic environment with the aim of promoting comfort and prevent unnecessary suffering

+ Makes appropriate referrals based on assessment and planning.

+ Performs initial assessments on patients first visit and reassessments as needed to include identification of actual or potential physical, psychological, pain, teaching, safety, infection control, and completes functional screenings.

Qualifications:

+ Graduate from an accredited ASN or BSN program

+ Must have Indiana RN license

+ Previous RN experience preferred

License/Certification:

+ BLS certification

+ IN RN license
