Position Overview: Join our team as a Facility Cleaner (Maintenance Cleaner) and take pride in keeping our facility spotless, safe, and welcoming. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for maintaining high standards across all workspaces—from restrooms to lobbies—ensuring every area is clean, stocked, and running smoothly. Your attention to detail and proactive service will directly support a polished, professional environment for employees and guests alike.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, hallways, lobbies, conference rooms, and other assigned areas, ensuring they are fully stocked with necessary supplies

+ Provide “white glove” service to maintain a polished and professional environment across all common and shared spaces

+ Empty trash and recycling receptacles daily and transport waste to designated disposal areas

+ Maintain cleanliness of building exteriors, especially around entrances, walkways, and employee gathering areas

+ Complete routine cleaning and maintenance request tickets in a timely and thorough manner

+ Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, restocking consumables, and completing minor repairs as needed

+ Assist in preventative maintenance efforts and promptly report any facility issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Facility Engineer Manager

+ Interact professionally with employees across all departments and respond to facility-related needs with a customer service-oriented approach

+ Follow all company safety protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE)

+ Complete other tasks as assigned by management to support the facility's overall cleanliness and functionality

Required Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Prior experience performing routine cleaning and light maintenance in professional or multi-use facilities (e.g., office buildings, commercial spaces, or similar environments)

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in a janitorial, custodial, or building maintenance role

+ Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices

+ Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, vacuums, and buffers

+ Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently

+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for long periods

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

+ Additional tasks assigned by management

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Prior experience in a manufacturing, office, commercial building, or industrial facility

+ Familiarity with safety data sheets (SDS) and OSHA safety protocols

+ Strong customer service skills and experience interacting with employees in a professional setting
