We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team in our corporate San Diego office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining critical data related to customer moves, inventories, logistics, and billing processes. This role ensures that our systems are up-to-date and reliable, supporting smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Accurately input data from physical and digital sources into company databases and CRM systems.
+ Update customer records, move details, service requests, and billing information in real-time.
+ Track and log inventory of packed/shipped items, including item descriptions and condition reports.
+ Verify and cross-reference data for accuracy and completeness.
+ Work closely with move coordinators to ensure data aligns with operations.
+ Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive customer and company information.
+ Generate reports and assist with audits to ensure data accuracy.
+ Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing physical and electronic records.
+ Identify and correct data entry errors or escalate inconsistencies to the appropriate department.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
+ High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data entry software.
+ Experience with CRM, warehouse, or inventory management systems (e.g., Move Management Software, QuickBooks, etc.) is a plus.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
+ Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
+ Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Working Conditions:
+ Fully in-office setting. No warehouse on-site
+ Standard working hours with occasional overtime during peak moving seasons.
