The role you’ll contribute:

_OurLegacy is designated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as the only organ procurement organization (OPO) in east central Florida and is accredited by the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) as a tissue recovery agency. The Referral Triage Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and performance of the members processing all incoming Vented and Non-Vented referrals called into and/or electronically submitted to OurLegacy from our Donor Service Area. They will monitor and QA the collection of the appropriate level of medical information to aide in donor eligibility evaluation for organ or tissue donation and direct the referral to the appropriate organ and/or tissue teams for follow up. This position may require extended work hours especially during periods of high activity, flexibility, and actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all._

+ _Provides prompt response and feedback regarding the organ and tissue donation referrals._

+ _Provides routine reporting to upper management regarding the productivity and performance of the referral triage team and process._

+ _Oversees the thorough patient evaluation for organ and tissue donation. Recognize and understand brain death as a function of donation suitability._
