    Job Overview

    The Academic and Behavior Technician supports AEA special education practitioners by assisting with data collection and documentation as part of Child Find evaluations, conducting interviews with students, educators or parents and observing students or instruction. All work is conducted under the direction of a special education practitioner.

    Qualifications

    + Board of Educational Examiners license preferred

    + Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field

    + Ability to relate to student population being served

    + A background check is a condition of employment.
