The Finance Department is seeking a full time Financial Analyst to join our team!
Role Summary:
This crucial role will help ensure the financial health of our multi-faceted health system’s operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the organization’s financial performance. This position supports system-wide corporate finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, while collaborating across departments to support the financial health and strategic goals of the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
+ The primary responsibilities of the Financial Analyst are to monitor, analyze, reconcile, and report on various departmental and system financial activities.
+ Performs analysis of revenues and expenses using key financial indicators to assist key stakeholders in their decision-making
+ Identifies, tracks and reports on statistical variances and reports discrepancies to the Director of Finance
+ Develops financial forecasts and/or business plans as needed
+ Plays a crucial role in analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information related to system-wide financial activities
+ Works cross-functionally between the finance team and department leaders to develop the system’s annual budget.
+ Using analytical skills and financial knowledge, assists the team in completing the annual audit
+ With attention to detail, analyzes, verifies, tracks and reports on financial indicators such as accounts receivable, account coding and charging, cash flow, budgets, GL, P&L, statistical data and reserves, reporting results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience
+ Detail oriented and superb organizational skills
+ Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills
+ Ability to work independently and maintain confidential and professional relationships with a variety of personnel
+ Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications
