    PDS Tech Commercial is looking for several Assembly Mechanics for our Aerospace client in Renton, WA.

     

    **Job Title:** Assembly Mechanic

    **Job Type:** Full-Time Consultant (3+ Months)

    **Location:** Renton, WA 98057

    **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, Must be Able to work any shift

    **Pay Rate:** $45-$47 /hour

     

    Paid Training will take place in Wichita, KS, Project is local to Renton, WA.

     

    + **Travel & Housing Support** – **Flights and hotel/car reimbursement for the 4-5 day training in Wichita, KS**

    + **You will be required to pass a Plate Test after training to continue on project.**

    Job duties:

    + **Assemble, install, seal, and rig** **structural components** based on **blueprints, technical drawings, and process specifications** .

    + **Perform functional tests** and ensure all components meet precise engineering standards.

    + Use **precision measuring instruments** and shop mathematics to verify accuracy.

    + Utilize **specialized tools** in the assembly process, ensuring proper fit, form, and function.

    + Identify and document discrepancies, ensuring all work aligns with **quality control procedures** .

    + Conduct **routine maintenance** on equipment as part of **Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) duties** .

    + **Move products within the manufacturing area** , ensuring seamless workflow and production efficiency.

    + **Train and assist** other assembly personnel in installation, inspections, and best practices.

    + Cross-train in **inspection procedures** and work towards becoming **SIA-qualified** .

    Requirements:

    + **5+ years of sheet metal mechanic experience** **in the** **aerospace** **industry**

    + **Experience with** **737 rework and sheet metal** (structures background is a plus!)

    + Ability to read and interpret **engineering drawings, blueprints, and process documents**

    + Proficiency in **precision measuring instruments** and **testing equipment**

    + Strong understanding of **quality control processes and inspection techniques**

    + **Ability to work** **any shift** as required by production needs

    Preferred:

    + Cross-training in **inspection and SIA qualification**

    **Pay Details:** $45.00 to $46.00 per hour
