    In this position you will be responsible for processing all incoming shipments accurately daily, performing visual inspections of all computer equipment, parts, and package orders; work closely with freight companies to ensure timely pick-up/deliveries are satisfied; positively interact with both internal and external customers. You will manage customer interface regarding deliveries and services. As well as be responsible for shipping and receiving, the development, deployment, and enforcement of internal policies and best practices. These policies and practices are designed to provide the highest possible level of service to the datacenter’s customer base.

    What You Will Do:

    + Match packing slip to purchase order, perform visual inspection for accuracy, enter data into inventory management tools

    + Work with Procurement and process all incoming shipments accurately daily

    + Package orders properly for safe shipment.

    + Support Hardware by providing an organized shipping, receiving and the spare parts departments

    + Develop processes, techniques, and training programs to strengthen the Facilities Services and Hardware Engineering department.

    + Troubleshoot customer requests

    + Work with freight companies to ensure timely pickup/deliveries are satisfied

    + Work with outside suppliers to meet customer requirements

    + Log, analyze and promptly take steps to resolve and/or escalate problems experienced by internal and external customers.

    + Work along with internal and external customers to proactively identify requirements.

    + Make recommendations to enhance the reliability, availability, and performance of the Facilities Hardware department

    + Adhere to strict change control practices in a mission-critical datacenter environment.

    + Develop and maintain documentation and processes to reflect up-to-date and accurate.

    + Maintain a high level of proficiency and in-depth knowledge related to the activities of the hardware team on an ongoing basis.

    + Coordination with customers to support computer upgrades such as memory, disk, CPUs, and peripheral cards utilizing the change control process.

    + Maintain exact control of the warehouse.

    + Define the different types of parts and equipment.

    + Support Hardware installations.

    + Implement the standards contained in the Hardware and Operation Best Practices and “Code of Business Ethics & Conduct

    + Work procedure and / or responsibility are assigned.

    + Responsible for updating DCIM tool

    What You Will Need:

    + 1-2 years minimum experience in shipping and receiving.

    + Ability to understand material flow within a stockroom environment

    + Ability to prioritize daily work functions in a manner that meets all required tasks at hand.

    + Have demonstrated the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment; pallet jacks and server lifts

    + Must be able to lift to 75 lbs.

    + Associate degree preferred however will be substituted for two additional years of applicable experience

    As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $35,000 to $63,000 annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. In addition to base salary, other compensation programs, depending on eligibility, include **an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance** and an equity grant under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
