The Office of Global Education (OGE) at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oneonta seeks a detail-oriented and globally-minded candidate for the full-time position of Study Abroad and Faculty-Led Programs Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Global Education, expectations include collaborating with international partners, SUNY's Office of Global Affairs, and faculty members to manage semester, academic year, and short-term study abroad and international faculty-led programs, vetting and contracting with vendors, as well as advising program applicants.

Duties include but are not limited to:
+ Implement approved exchange and direct study abroad programs via promotion, data entry, advising, and processing of student applications
+ Develop, launch, and manage international faculty-led programs (FLPs) in collaboration with faculty, staff, third-party providers, SUNY Global Affairs and other offices/departments on campus
+ Support faculty in program development, budgeting, promoting, facilitating administrative FLP review and approval, conducting pre-departure orientations, allocating scholarships, and assessing programs upon their return
+ Advise students on FLP and SUNY education abroad opportunities
+ Assist with planning and implementing education abroad and other office-wide events as needed
+ Represent the OGE at stakeholder meetings, on committees, and conferences when necessary

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Relevant work experiences and/or studies in global education
+ Demonstrated understanding of student services within higher education
+ Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects
+ Proficiency in MS Office
+ Valid driver's license
Preferred:
+ Experience working within an international collegiate office
+ Knowledge of overseas logistical processing, visa guidelines, and global issues impacting campus internationalization
+ Training in Banner or other student information system
+ Experience working with and serving diverse populations
