Position Summary...
Walmart’s Supply Chain Product Team is at the heart of the company’s global logistics network, driving innovations that optimize the flow of goods from suppliers to customers. The Flow Planning & Strategic Initiatives team focuses on developing and executing high-impact projects that span across warehousing, transportation, and inventory management. This team leads the charge in ensuring Walmart’s supply chain is efficient and cost-effective.
The Principal Product Manager will lead the strategy and execution of initiatives that impact Walmart’s entire supply chain network through collaboration with operations, transportation, warehousing, and engineering teams to define and implement initiatives that enhance flow efficiency.
This role will report to the Senior Director, Product Management and is based in Bentonville, Arkansas.
What you'll do...
+ Use data, advanced analytics, and AI/ML tools to optimize supply chain flow, ensuring smooth transitions across warehouses, transportation, and inventory management.
+ Build strategies for optimizing inbound, outbound, and inventory flow, ensuring efficient product movement across the network.
+ Define and track KPIs to evaluate the success of strategic initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
+ Continuously identify new opportunities to innovate and improve Walmart’s supply chain, using emerging technologies and processes.
+ Mentor a team of product managers, creating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
What You’ll Bring…
+ Deep understanding of Statistical Models and their applications to Improve Flow in Transportation
+ Extensive experience in designing neural network based statistical products to drive efficiency at Scale
+ Experience in Designing Network level flow strategy at Scale
+ Deep understanding of flow planning, TMS, WMS, and end-to-end supply chain operations
+ Expertise in using data-driven insights to guide decisions and improve processes
+ Experience in leading the development of large-scale platforms, focusing on outbound transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years’ experience in product management. Option 2: 11 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, Supervisory experience, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
