The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a CardioSupport Program Manager to join our team. This is an onsite opportunity in Austin, TX in the Heart Failure Division. In Abbott’s Heart Failure (HF) business, we’re developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
The CardioSupport Program Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a patient education program for the CardioMEMS HF System. This role will focus on enhancing patient understanding and engagement, improving health outcomes, and supporting the overall success of the CMEMS product.
What You’ll Work On
+ **_Program Management:_** Lead and evolve Abbott’s comprehensive patient education programs tailored to meet the needs of patients prescribed to receive Abbott heart failure products including the CardioMEMS HF System.
+ **_Implementation:_** Oversee program execution to ensure the highest quality of education is delivered to patients, and that this quality of education delivery is maintained as program scales.
+ **_Data & Analytics:_** Oversee data integrity for the program and report to leadership on program performance and KPI’s.
+ **_Patient Engagement:_** Become a subject matter expert on patient education talk tracks, program resources to support patient education, and the delivery of these resources.
+ **_Collaboration_** : Work closely with key organizational stakeholders to support program adoption as the program scales throughout the field organization and Abbott’s customers.
+ **_Training:_** Ensure the education team is appropriately trained to succeed in their role, and support internal trainings to support the field with program adoption.
+ **_Resource Management:_** Monitor metrics as program scales to ensure proper headcount is maintained to support program commitments, and that program has resources and collateral to properly support the patient pre-implant journey.
+ **_Monitoring and Evaluation:_** Monitor and evaluate the competency of individual educators and deliver coaching, training and mentorship.
+ **_Hire, Train, and Develop:_** _Recruit qualified candidates, deliver comprehensive training programs, and create personalized development plans to ensure continuous growth and performance improvement._
+ **_Compliance:_** Ensure all interactions and program resources comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a discipline appropriate to the program or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in patient education, program management, or a related role within the medical devices or customer service industry.
+ Has documented experience in leading teams and coaching for process improvement.
+ Demonstrated technical skills and management judgment appropriate to the project.
+ Demonstrates competency in computer skills necessary for the role.
+ Ability to support infrequent travel (less than 5%) to internal meetings

The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 – $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
