Manager, Non-Integrated AP and Order to Cash

Lead and manage the Non-integrated Order to Cash processes by improving efficiency and reducing costs related to essential transaction processing activities. Incorporate continuous productivity and efficiency improvements using metrics-based performance analysis and a "lean" approach. Manage system and process integration efforts into a shared service/centralized environment.
+ Coach, mentor and provide work direction to leaders managing non-integrated AR operations, credit, collections, and cash functions for the Order to Cash organization. Serve as a key owner of business processes utilized by the Order to Cash functional area. Empower leaders to make decisions to manage the daily operations.
+ Seek out and execute against process improvements initiatives that are medium to large in scope; focusing on efficient and effective processes that leverage automation and creative solutions.
+ Provide cross functional support on acquisition and divestiture related activities by providing business process expertise. For acquisitions, provide integration recommendations into a shared services environment. Own the identification of integration scope, key deliverables, establishing and tracking key milestones and adjusting plans and/or resources as needed. Develop and implement solutions to technical business process changes that may impact the business.
+ Partner with leaders across multiple functional areas to identify and implement cross functional process improvement/automation opportunities and ensure accurate business process documentation. Build cross functional efficiencies spending less time managing data processing activities and more time on activities which contribute to the success of the business.
+ Lead outsourced relationships including tracking of key performance metrics and adherence to SLAs. Outsourced relationships include third party collection agencies, printing, and mailing services and BPO providers.
+ Proactively manage qualitative and quantitative performance metrics for non-integrated Order to Cash operations by ensuring that SLAs and other operating metrics are achieved. This is includes collecting and analyzing objective quantitative and qualitative factors for cost, cycle time, efficiency and quality for assigned processes and compare them to world class performance.
Basic Qualification:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field and 5 years of Accounting or finance functions or a HS diploma/GED and 9 years experience.
+ Accounts receivable experience required.
+ Experience handling large projects with firm deadlines and experience with integration activities a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s and 7 years experience
+ Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, lean thinking or quality process improvement.
+ Demonstrated accounting skills and commitment to continuous process improvement.
+ Ability to work independently to develop approaches to business problems.
+ Ability to manage medium to large complex projects that are deadline driven.
+ Proven analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Prior leadership experience; strong teaching and coaching skills
+ SAP S4 knowledge is preferred.
+ Proficiency with various PC applications, database software knowledge and advanced spreadsheet skills.
