    Position Title: CULINARY SUPERVISOR - Camp Randall Stadium & Kohl Center Arena

     

    Pay Range: $24 to $28

    Job Summary

    Summary: As a Culinary Supervisor with Levy at UW – Madison , you will directly lead food-service associates to ensure that all culinary operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. You will play a vital role in maintaining high food quality, safety standards, and an exceptional dining experience for guests while leading a talented team of culinary professionals. Anticipated start date August 1 st .

    Essential Responsibilities:

    + Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.

    + Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.

    + Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.

    + Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use.

    + Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy; maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste.

    + Follows guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.

    + Operates food service equipment in a safe manner according to established policies and procedures.

    + Remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Previous culinary leadership experience is required.

    + Must be willing to earn Food Handlers Certification.

    + Ability to lift and move 20 - 40lbs.

    + Must be comfortable working in a high volume, fast paced kitchen.

    + Must be available 6am-6pm with weekend availability
