Overview of Position Responsibilities:
The Community Manager is responsible for increasing Bluepeak’s penetration and brand visibility across multi-dwelling unit properties while improving the overall experience for property owners, managers, and tenants. This individual will cultivate long-term relationships, manage sales initiatives, represent the Bluepeak brand at local events, and serve as a key liaison between the company and our community partners. This role requires a creative communicator, an energetic team player, and someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
What You Will Do:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
• Cultivate strong relationships with property managers, developers, HOAs, and consultants to gain sales access and increase customer reach.
• Provide exceptional customer experience from pre-installation through the entire lifecycle, identifying opportunities to upsell and engage.
• Train leasing agents and property staff on Bluepeak’s services, offers, and key selling points.
• Collaborate with sales teams to support lead generation and manage the sales funnel with accurate reporting.
• Advocate for customers internally to ensure satisfaction and service resolution.
• Provide property managers with necessary promotional materials, sales tools, and collateral to support sales efforts and brand promotion within their properties.
• Leverage MDU EMAs to drive increased awareness and engagement within properties.
• Serve as the face of Bluepeak at regional events, networking functions, community festivals, and resident appreciation gatherings.
• Oversee logistics and operations for assigned local events, including event setup, vendor coordination, signage placement, and ensuring smooth execution.
• Focus on building relationships with schools, churches, and other community organizations to create new sales opportunities, increase service adoption, and drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with marketing and public relations teams to create and distribute engaging content, photos, and videos across social media and local platforms.
• Participate in online community groups to build digital presence and increase brand awareness.
• Other related duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with comfort in public speaking and social settings.
• Proven ability to plan, host, and lead events or group gatherings (10+ people).
• Confident self-starter who can manage projects independently and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
• Strong organizational, planning, and reporting skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory (up to 40%), with occasional evenings and weekends required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, brand marketing, or community outreach—preferably in telecommunications or a customer-facing industry.
Computer Skills:
• MS Office Suite: Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel, OneNote.
• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and familiarity with telecommunications platforms like ICOMS preferred.
• Comfortable using social media for professional brand engagement.
