+ Performs garbage pick up daily at all hand pick-up stations on both campuses

+ Empty all dumpsters on both campuses

+ Recycle all appropriate materials and deliver to recycle stations

+ Responsible for all maintenance and upkeep of all equipment related to waste management

+ Clear pathways and parking lots of snow using shovels and/or equipment as assigned

+ Completes special projects as assigned

+ Other responsibilities as assigned by the Crew Coordinator or Senior Director

The estimated wage is $19.67 per hour for 40 hours per week for 52 weeks.

Job Requirements:

+ Must maintain a class II NYS driver's license

+ Must have complete knowledge of materials and equipment related to waste management

+ Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions

+ Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 51 lbs. without assistance

+ Must be able to work from heights, including mechanical lifting devices

+ Must be able to read instructions and safety rules, write sentences, communicate verbally and follow instructions

+ Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide

+ Must be able to walk, stoop, bend, crouch, sit, kneel, climb and crawl

+ Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
